It's like returning to a familiar place, where friendships remain strong and true, and a big metal hippo named Otis unexplainable moves around town! I loved coming back to Heritage and into the last story of the series with Leah and Jon but it was the bonus story with Colby and Madison (who I absolutely adored!) that gave me all the feels. Ms. Faris knows how to ramp up the romantic tension and it kept me checked out of real life and into the lives of Jon and Leah and the miscommunication...

"I'd say broken pieces and all, we have a pretty beautiful life." The Secret Keepers of Old Depot Grocery is a story about three generations of women connected to a family grocery store that has served each of them through critical points in their lives. I appreciated the nostalgia of each woman's history with the store but what really drew me to each page were the men. Ms. Cox crafted three men who truly epitomize selflessness, grace, and sacrificial love that I think wins this story and IMO...

Unknown Threat is an explosive start to Lynn Blackburn's new series and I'm here for it! In quick order, Ms. Blackburn wheels you in with heart-stopping suspense, a charming and memorable ensemble cast, and an endearing hero-heroine combo that'll have you cheering for them on every page. I loved the unique plot, the way Ms. Blackburn develops the Secret Service/FBI relationship in an authentic way. The suspense kept me guessing until the reveal and the action was paced well throughout making it...

Author Jennifer Deibel sweeps readers away in her debut novel, A Dance in Donegal, and I enjoyed every single page! With attention to detail only someone intimately familiar with Ireland, Ms. Deibel paints a setting so vivid you can't help but believe you're living Moira's story right alongside with her. I love how the author weaves Irish culture throughout the mystery of the plot, memorable characters, and the beautiful message of God's purpose and forgiveness. In this debut, Jennifer Deibel...

Fast paced-suspense glued this book to my hand until the very end. Once again, we're back with Amara Alvarez and the San Antonio PD. This character makes her first appearance in an earlier book, Collision of Lies, but Network of Deceit can be read as a stand-alone, though I'd highly recommend grabbing the first book if you enjoy suspense-totally worth it. After the death of a teenage boy at a waterpark turns suspicious, Detective Alvarez finds herself caught in a deadly game of cybercrime. I...

Quick pacing, intense action, Lynette Eason invites readers back to the danger in this newest release. One of my favorite things about series is returning to familiar faces. Unexpected twists and turns force the team to come together to protect one of their own. I think one of my favorite aspects of this story was the introduction of a minor character that the heroine could relate to on a personal level. It added depth to her story as well as to Travis-the hero-and made the plot that much...

Mesmerizing in its lyrical beauty, The Love Note swept me into an unforgettable romantic mystery. Author, Joanna Davidson Politano, has a magical way of weaving theme within her pages allowing the story to stay with you long after the last page. I love the vivid way Ms. Politano brings the character and setting to life, which makes it hard to not race through the story because it's just so good. Highly recommend The Love Note to ALL readers-this is a must read story! **I received a copy of this...

Twists and turns that start on the very first page! From page one, I was pulled into the action and suspense when Aubrey Grayson witnesses a close family friend shot right in front of her and then she's kidnapped. As the plot unfolds, it becomes clear not everything is as it seems and I liked the way Ms. Harris kept increasing the stakes. The romantic tension between Aubrey and Jack continue to grow from an established friendship, which made it feel natural. A thrilling plot and developed...

Solid 3.5--This is a fun story that had me wanting to restore a vintage trailer ASAP! This story is my first Melody Carlson and I enjoyed it. From the very first page I was quickly captured by Dillon Michaels (it took me a hot minute to get used to her name) plight as she makes a quick decision so start over and move home. I loved Dillon's grandpa as he reminded me very much of my own. I had a hard time with the other secondary characters, like Vivian who at first I thought was much older given...

A thrilling hunt that'll have you on the edge of your seats with every turn of the page! Author James Hannibal delivers an exciting sequel that will delight suspense/thriller fans. CIA officer Talia Inger returns with the dynamic team as they hunt an evil enigma going by the name of White Lion. The action begins on page one and doesn't let up bringing one of the coolest casts of characters into the throes of good versus evil. I enjoyed how Mr. Hannibal weaved moral implications throughout and...
